
Canadian pianist Khloe Bo-Le Yang has performed extensively as a recitalist, chamber musician, and soloist with orchestras across the globe. Recent performances include the United States, Canada, Italy, Spain, China, South Korea, and Japan.
Born into a musical family in China, Ms. Yang started taking piano lessons with her father at the age of 4 and made her first recital debut three years later. Shortly after she started to participate in musical competitions and had won numerous awards. She made her orchestral debut at the age of 13, performing Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No.1. The Evening News acclaimed Khloe as ‘a future rising artist’ after the performance. She graduated high school with principle’s distinction in the year of 1999. She was then selected to study with Prof. Manchun Xu at the prestige Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing.
After moving to Canada in 2001, she received her Bachelor of Music degree from the Schulich School of music at McGill University, and her Master of Music degree from Manhattan School of Music in New York, working with the legendary American pianist Prof.Phillip Kawin, whom a direct descendent of the great Vladimir Horowitz and Constance Keene. In addition, Ms. Yang has performed for many world-renowned pianists, including Gary Graffman, Robert McDonald, Lang Lang, Louis Lortie, Barry Snyder, Kum-Sing Lee, Marc Durand and Robert Silverman. She has won second price in the Bradshaw & Buono International Piano Competition, and first price in the Canadian Music Competition. Karen has given concerts in prestige concert venues such as Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, Steinway Hall, Place des Arts, Seoul Arts Center and Gijon Sur.
As an educator, Ms. Yang has been teaching both privately and at the Montreal Academy of Music and Concord Music Academy in Shanghai. Her students often ranked top in Canadian and international competitions. Many of them had been accepted into top musical institutions in North America. Ms. Yang currently resides in Montreal and is working with selected pupils to fulfill their musical dreams.

杨女士出生于中国一个音乐世家,四岁起随父学琴,七岁举行独奏音乐会。曾多次参加全国及省市级钢琴比赛获奖,十三岁首次和交响乐团合作,演奏了柴科夫斯基第一钢琴协奏曲。新晚报以“冉冉升起的未来之星”给予了篇幅报道。高中毕业后,在中央音乐学院师从陈曼春教授。
2001年移居加拿大蒙特利尔,她以专业第一名成绩及全额奖学金入学麦吉尔大学音乐学院攻读音乐学士学位,师从著名钢琴家理查德·雷蒙德(Richard Raymond)和日本著名钢琴女泰斗桥本京子。2009年获得了纽约曼哈顿音乐学院音乐硕士学位,作为霍洛维茨嫡传第四代弟子,师从著名钢琴教育家,施坦威艺术家,钢琴演奏家菲利普·凯文(Phillip Kawin)。杨女士还曾多次受到众多大师的指点,包括柯蒂斯音乐学院的加里·格拉夫曼,茱莉亚音乐学院的罗伯特·麦当劳,郎朗,路易·洛尔蒂,伊斯曼音乐学院的百瑞·施耐德,李金星,西北大学音乐学院的何塞·门德茨,不列颠哥伦比亚大学音乐学院的罗伯特·西弗曼,蒙特利尔大学钢琴系主任马克·杜郎等。杨博乐的比赛经历包括获得布诺布拉德莎国际钢琴比赛第二名,加拿大国家钢琴比赛第一名等。她在很多世界知名音乐殿堂都有过演出,如林肯中心,卡耐基音乐厅,施坦威音乐厅,蒙特利尔艺术中心,首尔艺术中心,西班牙希洪音乐厅等。
杨女士在钢琴教学方面经验丰富。曾以英法中三语在蒙特利尔音乐学院任教,并多次获得该校优秀教师奖。2018年任教于上海合艺音乐学校,协和国际学校,不列颠国际学校等。她培养的多名学生参加过国际和加拿大国家音乐节和钢琴比赛并获奖,很多学生也如愿考入了知名音乐学府继续他们的专业学习。
